SOS bidegorriak

SOS bidegorriak

San Sebastian is a city with great historical and architectural heritage. It has been growing gradually over the years, creating in turn a network to move pedestrians and cars. The ‘bidegorri’ is a communication route designed after this deployment and has become the main mode of transport for many citizens. It is therefore essential to keep it in good condition to ensure the safety of users.

However, moments or points of conflict arise in its development when it encounters historical heritage, and this is precisely the focus of the workshop ‘SOS bidegorriak’ that will take place at the Basque Country Architecture Institute. The activity, organized by the Architecture Institute in collaboration with Atari Kultura Arkitektonikoa, is part of the European Heritage Days promoted by the Department of Culture and Politics of the Basque Government and the three provincial councils, and will seek to identify these points of conflict and create a debate on possible solutions.

The workshop is aimed at young people between 14 and 20 years old, although anyone can participate. Places are limited and it is necessary to register in advance. You can register here.
