‘Planting a tree’ workshop
Planting a tree is an act that transcends the immediacy used when we plan cities. It could be said that this action is a revolutionary act of peaceful resistance to the materialistic mechanics that surround us. Those who plant trees in cities know that it is a long-term bet and that if they are lucky, they will never see the end of the journey of these wonderful and long-lived beings.
In this family workshop, we will create our own plant nursery. We will start with a small tree plantation with which to green the terrace of the The Euskadi’s Architecture Institute, and then, build small time capsules that we will bury for posterity.
