Izenak izanak egin

Larraitz Torres presents the project ‘Izenak izanak egin’ at the Basque Country Architecture Institute, a cross between the plastic/visual world, architecture and the story of childhood.

This is the collective construction of a sensorial space with families, where through words and drawings, we will approach the constructions of the Mexican architect Luis Barragán or Miguel Garai himself. This workshop will allow us to enjoy a poetic experience by projecting a textile architecture of beautiful colours. Register here.

Larraitz Torres is an artist who works with pedagogy and the elements of Pop and the elements of Pop culture to bring us closer to other understandings of the context that surrounds us. She began her career with the performance Plastificción (produced by Mugatxoan, 2003). Since then he has worked in Permanent vacation Versión (Artium), Inicio-Nowness (La Casa Encendida), The landscape the song the make up (Marfa, USA), Sec.Int.Night (DAI/Casco, NL). He has developed a multitude of performance projects and has recently managed the space Alkolea Beach together with the artists Amaia Urra and Sandra Cuesta, with whom he combines actions through the musical project Colombina’s.
