Round table – Pasajes closing
For a year, the Basque Country Institute of Architecture has been the scene of an architectural exercise whose central axis has been the idea of intervening on what has been built. Four young architecture studios from the Basque Country have been in charge of putting the idea into practice in the ‘Pasajes’ programme, intervening in different spaces of the building through simple interstitial installations that articulate their museum route. Azab Architects (now Bear Architects and Acha Zaballa Architects) was the first to intervene with their installation ‘Between sweet and raw – Acceleration Objectology‘; then it was the turn of Ocamica Tudanca Arquitectos with their proposal ‘Who is there‘; the third, PAUZARQ Arquitectos, devised ‘Diaphragm: light and materiality‘; and this July 21, Tarte Arkitektura will be in charge of the fourth and last intervention, ‘Divergent Transitions‘.
To close the program, the four installations will be presented together on July 21 at 7:00 p.m., in an appointment where the architects of the proposals will offer a commented visit to each one of them.
