‘I-go zinemara’: summer film festival
Immerse yourself in the summer film cycle ‘I-go zinemara’ at the Euskadi’s Institute of Architecture. Every Friday at 10pm you can enjoy films that will feature different summer houses, offering a film series that accompanies the exhibition ‘Eileen Gray: E.1027’, dedicated to the Irish architect and designer and her villa on the French Riviera.
The films, curated by the Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE), are jewels in the history of cinema. You can enjoy them in a non-cinematographic space converted for the occasion: the terrace of the Institute of Architecture. This was done by the UPV/EHU Higher Technical School of Architecture, whose students have adapted the space for ‘I-go zinemara’. This third hybridization where cinema and architecture go hand in hand will be accompanied by a small exhibition that arises from a joint investigation of both schools around the cinema spaces in the history of Donostia. Part of its results are exhibited on floor 0 of the building, a sample of the transdisciplinarity that the Institute of Architecture wants to promote.
The Institute of Architecture will be open until 22:30 on Fridays.
