‘Leaves’ family workshop – COMPLETE

“Tree is leaf and leaf is tree.
House is city and city is house.
A tree is a tree, but it is also a huge leaf.
A leaf is a leaf, but it is also a small tree.
A city is not a city, unless it is also a huge house.
A house is a house only if it is also a small city”.

Inspired by these beautiful words of the Dutch architect Aldo van Eyck, we can discover the resemblance between the nerves of a leaf and the branches of a tree, between the silhouette of its crown and that of the leaf that dresses it. In this family workshop, which is part of the exhibition ‘Arboretum. Trees as architecture‘, we will look for relationships and similarities between leaves, trees, houses and cities.

This workshop will be held twice: on 8 (COMPLETE) and 22 June (COMPLETE).
