The Basque Country Institute of Architecture hosts the national meeting of Housing directors

It has been in the framework of the conference ‘Alokabizi: towards a new model of social rental housing as a public service’, organized by the Department of Territorial Planning, Housing and Transport of the Basque Government.

On Wednesday, February 15, the Basque Country Institute of Architecture held a meeting of the Housing general directors at the state level on the deployment of Next Generation EU funds. It has been in the framework of the conference ‘Alokabizi: towards a new model of social rental housing as a public service’, organized by the Department of Territorial Planning, Housing and Transport of the Basque Government, which has exposed the model of social housing of the future in the stock managed by the public company Alokabide, for rent.

The meeting of Housing general directors at state level is a meeting promoted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda in the Basque Institute of Architecture. There, those responsible for territorial housing policies have addressed the progress in the deployment of rehabilitation in terms of energy efficiency of residential buildings and housing that are taking place in the autonomous communities, actions promoted by the Next Generation EU Funds, under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the Central Government.
