B / L, urban coincidences between Bilbao and London
The new exhibition hiru hiri – city views invites us to reflect on the character of the three capitals of Euskadi, bringing to light the personal and often hidden corners of Bilbao, Donostia and Vitoria-Gasteiz in the form of postcards. Now, from paper we will move on to words, with three online talks, one for each capital.
The first to release will be Bilbao, with a lecture that reviews the urban development of the Biscayan capital compared to London, going from the Nervión to the Thames and from the old town to the City. It’s an intervention by the architect and urban planner Luis Tena, where he will review the points of union of these two cities, a priori so different before our eyes.
Luis Tena is an architect and urban planner and professor in the Department of Projects, Theory and History and Urbanism at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.
