Estudio Carme Pinós – Context and concepts

In Context and Concepts, Carme Pinós explains her creative process, her approach to the resolution of each assignment. It always starts from the careful reading of the context -both on a physical and cultural level- and from the understanding of the project’s requirements, with the desire not only to solve its functionality, but also to create experiences beyond it.

The architecture of Carme Pinós does not have its own calligraphy, each project is expressed in a unique way with its own geometry, but it does share a common philosophy that we reflect in the six different concepts that structure the exhibition. For each of them we group together a series of works that explain and demonstrate it, and then display through sketches, plans, models and images all the creative development of one of them.

The exhibition ends with a series of designs, including furniture from the Objects collection, as well as unique pieces created for different clients. All of them share the same principles that have marked all their way of doing architecture.
